Sade's 120 Days of Sodom reworked, with few of the resonances and none of the rigour of Pasolini's Saló. Four men immure themselves in a mansion for protracted orgies of eating and screwing: their excesses make for a colourful social satire, but when the tone turns sombre it looks awkwardly as if Ferreri was trying for something more.Author: TR
