Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A gauche young boatman from the sticks makes his way to the Big City, finds work in live sex shows, and winds up starring in soft-porn movies with two women fighting over his body off-screen. The London Festival described this spineless and exploitative mess as 'audacious', clearly forgetting that Lino Brocka covered very similar ground with very much more integrity ten years earlier, when martial law was still in force. At best this is embarrassing, at worst it's amateur night in Manila.
