An animated feature derived from the cartoon strip. Very flat animation, occasionally carelessly painted, with the characters often 'out of tune' with the style of the background. Schulz's script maintains much of the irony of the strips, but the injections of whimsy put its appeal uneasily between adults and children. Snoopy has some beautiful moments, though.Author:
