The Brides of Dracula (1960)
Director: Terence Fisher
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Patchy but striking, and directed with Fisher's usual flair. Not really a sequel to Hammer's Dracula, since Christopher Lee refused to repeat his role, it has Peel as a youthful and somewhat pallid relative who is kept locked up (though thoughtfully provided with suitable victims) by a fond mamma, but escapes to get within biting distance of an academy for young ladies. Hunt (the mother) and Jackson (a crazed retainer) are fun.Author: TM
