The Brides of Fu Manchu (1966)
Director: Don Sharp
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
This was the second of the two movies that the talented Sharp made for producer Harry Alan Towers in the Fu Manchu series, based on Sax Rohmer's vintage yellow bogeyman. Although nothing like as stylish as its predecessor, The Face of Fu Manchu, it manages to get quite a lot of fun out of a Bondish plot in which the evil doctor (played with as much sinister menace as ever by Christopher Lee) kidnaps a dozen girls so as to force key relatives to develop a deadly new energy ray.Author: DP
