The Brink's Job (1978)
Director: William Friedkin
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Despite Friedkin's strong track record - The French Connection, The Exorcist - this is a comedy thriller as lacking in skill, direction or wit as it's possible to imagine. Falk, as the leader of a gang of fools engaged in a multi-million dollar heist, hams his way anxiously through a plot full of childish hiccups, with only Warren Oates (as a weak, tormented accomplice) injecting even a minimum of conviction.Author: CA
