Broken Harvest (1994)
Director: Maurice O'Callaghan
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A lyrical but relatively unsentimental tale of the tensions that beset Ireland for years after the Civil War. Focused on local rivalries, particularly between two men who fell out over a woman and over political differences, the film is good on the conflicting impulses of hating and forgiving, forgetting and remembering, but less certain in its execution: visuals, editing and story are a shade obvious, the acting a little unsure.Author: GA
