Bronx Warriors (1982)
Director: Enzo G Castellari
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Interleaving script pages from The Warriors and Escape from New York has proved a cheap departure for Italian schlock-merchants. Here, we're offered the Bronx of 1990, surrendered to the gangs, but now invaded by freelance psychopath Morrow, hired to liberate a runaway heiress (happily slumming as a biker's moll until kidnapped by rival sickies) from across the river, but more intent on wiping out all scummy life in his former habitat. Muddy, muddled and moronic: heavily censored ultra-violence, interval-style ice-cream score, insultingly perfunctory climax and all. Next from the Cinecittà carbon factory - Mad Mario 3?Author: PT
