By the Light of the Silvery Moon (1953)
Director: David Butler
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Harmless sequel to On Moonlight Bay, which left Day and MacRae on the brink of marriage at the end of World War I. Manufactured delays for the wedding provide a tiresomely thin plot, but leaves more time for comedy involving young brother, who becomes convinced that dad is romancing a French actress. The gaps are plugged by another batch of nostalgic songs like 'If You Were the Only Girl in the World' and 'Be My Little Bumble Bee'.Author: TM
