Captain Nemo and the Underwater City (1969)
Director: James Hill
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Jules Verne's Nemo and his undersea kingdom had been the inspiration for numerous special effects work-outs in Hollywood since the silent days, but here it was the MGM-British contingent who were charged with topping the splendours of Disney's 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, with a recycled yarn of a shipwrecked sextet rescued and then held captive by the venerable captain of the Nautilus. Nicely naïve stuff.Author: PT
