A demonic black limousine, with no driver behind its tinted windows, races around exterminating the inhabitants of a small Californian town. Interminably drawn out, with some good special effects but its characters hauled straight out of the cracker-barrel, it has nowhere near the same minatory charge as Spielberg's Duel.Author: TM

- Posted on Jan 19 2009 02:01 Pre-Christine monster car movie that has become a cult classic B-horror flick. The car is menacing but some of the sped-up footage makes it appear comical. The garage scene with Brolin versus car is the best scary moment in the picture. Despite some familiar faces including Brolin and Ronnie Cox, the script is like rice paper. No Oscar performances here. The end credits leave the door open for a sequel . . . or how 'bout a remake?
