Catlow (1971)
Director: Sam Wanamaker
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Lowbrow Western shot in Spain, with genial performances from Brynner and Crenna as the roguish outlaw and upright sheriff who remain buddies while trying to do each other down, simultaneously coping with waterless deserts, Mexican soldiers, assorted brands of Indians, and a wildcat girl (Lavi, excellent). Wanamaker's direction, unfortunately, is basic stodge.Author: TM
