Cease Fire (1985)
Director: David Nutter
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Tormented by his experiences in Vietnam, Tim (Johnson) finds it increasingly difficult to adjust to everyday life and vents his frustration on his family. The traumatic and insidious aftermath of the 'suckers' war' is a serious subject, but that does not prevent this spasmodic film from being silly. Not only are the war scenes laughable, but there is also a hilarious episode when the flaky veteran reverts to jungle tactics in his own living-room. Lots of acting but little action; worthy but not worth watching.Author: MS
