From Time Out Film Guide

Dotcom whiz-kid Richard (Sarsgaard) falls for riot grrrl drummer Florence (Parker), a part-time stripper. He persuades her to come to Las Vegas for the weekend, expenses paid, but promises she won't have to sleep with him. The young man repeatedly watches her routine. Then he has the dark side of his sexual obsession exposed (moral: Money Can't Buy You Love). The problem with this po-faced slice of erotica (shot on handheld digital) isn't that the cultural references feel dated, but that the characters are out of time. Wang is desperate to show he's in step with today's crazy mixed-up kids, yet can't work up much enthusiam for young people. Or women.
