Charley-One-Eye (1972)
Director: Don Chaffey
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Undeniable tendencies to symbolic overkill and messy over-statement mar this Civil War Western polemic on the dispossessed. But Chaffey copes well with the Spanish desert locations, and draws excellent performances from Roundtree and Thinnes as the black Union Army deserter and the Indian outcast who find common ground in oppression (eventually personified by Davenport's ruthless bounty-hunter).Author: VG
