Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A well-meaning if somewhat sanctimonious piece of claptrap about the first man to undergo a sex-change operation (in 1952). Although attempting a serious and sympathetic treatment of its subject, it confronts few of the real issues involved, and actor Hansen proves incapable of tackling the female part of his role.

Posted on Jun 27 2008 23:47 I have heard about this film and wondered how bad it was...well, Hollywood at work again. Christine wanted changes by the producer and director did their own thing. In contrast the A&E TV presentation of Christine was very informative and entertaining.
