Close to the Wind (1969)
Director: Stellan Olsson
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Effectively low-key realism in a naturalistic account of a none-too-successful artist and sculptor who comes into conflict with society at large when his only patrons - a bureaucratic committee commissioning work for a company's centenary - subtly but steadily alter his original conception. It's all pretty thin, and stands or falls by its performances (largely amateur, including Oscarsson's own family), but it does have a certain charm that is never ingratiating.Author: GA
