The Clouded Yellow (1950)
Director: Ralph Thomas
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Eric Ambler had a hand in the script for this unsurprising, but watchable sub-Hitchcock British thriller, which has Howard as a former spy getting himself into hot water after he goes off to catalogue the butterfly collection of the eccentric Jones. When Simmons, his new employer's daughter, is accused of murdering the handyman who's molested her, Howard spirits the girl away and sets about hunting the real killer.Author: TJ
