Come Fill the Cup (1951)
Director: Gordon Douglas
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Despite a not altogether convincing script, a solid piece of entertainment with Cagney as the journalist whose life is almost ruined by alcoholism, until he sees the light and sets about helping to cure others. Gangsters are brought in to contrived effect towards the end, but the whole thing, despite a tub-thumping message, is lent style by a strong cast and Robert Burks' steely photography.Author: GA
