Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
The spirit of Paddy Chayefsky unfortunately lives on in this leaden satire of the dubious ethics of the Japanese media. An increasingly ragged TV journalist endures one humiliating setback after another in an unending quest for exclusive celebrity interviews; he tramples on the private feelings of others until his conscience finally asserts itself and he steps in to stop (rather than report) a murder. Hideously protracted, lumberingly obvious, and completely lacking in real bite.Author: TR
