Coming Home (1978)
Director: Hal Ashby
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Hal (Shampoo) Ashby takes on (and makes disposable) America's post-Vietnam guilt, with a supremely sentimental tale of war hero's wife (a nurse!) falling for paraplegic war veteran. Cliché piles on cliché to the strains of a garbled '60s soundtrack, but the movie's ending goes some way to recognising its failure. Fonda is magnificent.Author: CA
