As dismal as its successors in the brief Confessions series, this was covered widely in the trade press at the time. Something to do with the bravery of the producers actually going ahead and making what they all but acknowledged was a whole lot of garbage, on the principle that garbage is better for the British film industry than not making anything at all.Author: VG
