Conflict of Wings (1954)
Director: John Eldridge
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Produced by Group Three as part of the government's intervention in the British film industry in the '50s. The conflict in question is between birds wings and RAF wings. The Norfolk villagers want to keep their bird sanctuary, and the RAF want a training ground. Needless to say there is a third way: the Great British Compromise. One minor point of interest is that the script is by Don Sharp from his own novel.Author: PH
