The Conqueror (1956)
Director: Dick Powell
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Over-long, very dull epic produced by Howard Hughes, about the territorial and amorous conquests of Genghis Khan. Wayne, who saw the film as an oriental Western, is horribly miscast as the barbaric warrior, drawling lines like 'You're beautiful in your wrath' to the reluctant Hayward, and looking decidedly un-Oriental.Author: GA
