Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Shot in English over 14 days, split between Barcelona and the Spanish coast, this witty and gradually affecting study of a lesbian love affair blossoming against the odds is necessarily constrained, the action taking place chiefly in phone booths, an apartment and on a roof. That's not to say though, that the director hasn't made the most of scant resources. Anna (Balletbò-Coll) is forced to make ends meet as a tourist guide; her free time is spent getting her one-woman show, 'Love Thy Neighbour', off the ground. Until, that is, she falls in love with an exasperating Israeli engineer (del Valle) who turns Anna's world (and underwear draw) upside down. Slight, but endearing.
