From Time Out Film Guide

Su (Jet Li), a Taiwanese government agent, is in LA to trail a peaceable team of jewel robbers led by family man Tony Fait (DMX). The adversaries turn reluctant partners when bad hats steal Tony's little daughter along with priceless black diamonds of special interest to the nuclear-domination community. As the good thief, DMX cuts as dour a figure as the depressive Li, who's saddled with, among other indignities, a 'dwarf tossing' episode. The fiery finale at last pits Li against a worthy opponent (Dacascos), but then defers to CGI for its gruesome payoff. Fitful bursts of charisma bubble up from a game supporting cast, but overall mostly dispiriting. JWin.
