Cry Wolf (1947)
Director: Peter Godfrey
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Stanwyck makes a brave attempt as the woman in peril in this old dark house thriller with its creaky plot about her coming to claim the inheritance of her recently deceased husband and suspecting that his uncle (Flynn) may have murdered him. The twists in the plot don't really improve matters much, but the cast is generally watchable, if wasted.Author: GA
