Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Meet the Drabs - Donat and Kerr - and watch how the war gives their marriage a little excitement and a well-deserved holiday: he goes into the Navy, she becomes a Wren, and each enjoys a fling. The movie was made by MGM British in the manner of Mrs Miniver, and was to have been directed by Wesley Ruggles. Divided into three 'acts', with a script by Clemence Dane, it is a reasonably acted, authentically staged evocation of British resolve under stress. The eagle-eyed may spot Roger Moore in a walk-on.
