Appalling Gallic sitcom about a provincial bank manager's automotive and amorous misadventures when posted to Paris. The insulting script and slap-happy direction stall as often as Velle's ingratiating naif on their collective way through every second-hand learner-driver/driving test gag you've ever seen before, and the going actually gets harder as the film goes further downhill with our 'hero' plunging into a 'misunderstood' affair.
