Un Peu de Soleil dans l'Eau Froide (1971)
Director: Jacques Deray
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A fatuous tale (adapted from a novel by Françoise Sagan) about a young journalist, on the verge of nervous breakdown, who is sent away to the country to recuperate. There he meets - wouldn't you know? - a married lady who falls in love with him at first sight. Complications follow, merely multiplying the incredulity. Porel gives one of the most boring, suburban, asexual performances imaginable, and Auger comes on with all the discretion of a Kotex ad. How did Jean-Claude Carrière come to get mixed up in this as co-scriptwriter?Author: VG
