From Time Out Film Guide

Shot in Rotterdam and the Paisley Park Studios in Minnesota, this is the film of Prince's 1987 tour. It also includes the promo video for the single 'U Got The Look', featuring Sheena Easton, who is obviously a trouper but a loser in the raw sex/pure energy stakes to Cat, Prince's co-star in the sexual slapstick routines that constitute a good part of the film's visual appeal. Musically, it's a matter of opinion, but from the sparse funk of the title tune to the bebop blow-out around Charlie Parker's Now's the Time, this guiltless grooving in Eden fizzes with brilliantly choreographed wit and invention.
