Charming documentary about Cuban romantics, making sly (dis-)connections between the sentimental stories on the popular local soaps and the touching but messy relationships of the people who watch them. The men are amorous but utterly dependent (even or especially on their ex-wives); the women make the best of it. It's fun, and you learn a lot about Cuba along the way.Author: TCh
