Journalist McGinley finds a valuable ancient coin, stolen in a daring heist, and hides it in the bleeper of his deaf physical-trainer. When the journalist meets with an explosive 'accident', the physical-trainer, Matlin, doesn't know she's been left carrying the booty. But crooked psycho-cop Sheen does. Only reliable restaurateur Sweeney can save the day. A ludicrous variation on Wait Until Dark in which Matlin and Sweeney remain laudable deadpan, while Sheen goes swiftly into rent-a-mental overdrive.
