Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo (1977)
Director: Vincent McEveety
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Herbie the thinking VW is all tuned up for the Paris to Monte Carlo road race, but falls for a pert little Lancia (who must be considerably underage), to the dismay of his handsome driver (Jones) and eye-rolling mechanic (Knotts). Successfully combining excitement, romance and simple comedy, this stock Disney (third in the series) follows an entirely predictable course with masterful precision. And there's sunny weather all the way.Author: JS
