A pair of yuppie Baltimore hacks use their romance as material for their rival newspaper columns. Later they become TV stars. The story's told from two perspectives, with Kwapis directing his and Silver hers. It may seem a novel conceit, but like the lifestyle journalism it celebrates, the film is grating, narcissistic and shallow.Author: GM
