Hotel Sahara (1951)
Director: Ken Annakin
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Ustinov plays it very broad as the accommodating North African hotel owner, caught in WWII, who switches allegiances whenever a new army comes to town. There are fitful hints that satire may be intended, but the end result is basically jingoistic farce. One plus is a fine comic turn from Yvonne De Carlo (soon to be Mrs Munster) as Ustinov's fiancée.Author:
