House II: The Second Story (1987)
Director: Ethan Wiley
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Jesse McLaughlin (Gross) inherits a house with a secret: his great-great grandpappy, a notorious outlaw from the Old West, was buried in the back garden with a valuable crystal skull imbued with magic powers. So Jesse digs him up. But once the skull is installed on its altar, it creates a series of magic portals by which various baddies travel through time to try to steal it. This sequel to House offers another blend of humour and horror, but the gags aren't particularly sweet, the chills aren't particularly spicy. On the whole an indigestible affair, which fortunately passes quickly through the system.Author: SGo
