Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

One of the dire sitcoms in which Bob Hope latterly got bogged down. Hope and wife Wyman initiate divorce proceedings. Daughter (Cameron) learns this on the way to the altar, and decides to cohabit instead of marrying. Much ado, especially when she becomes pregnant, with Hope and Wyman adopting silly disguises and contriving to commit the young couple (and themselves, of course) to marriage. Hope also gets to masquerade as a hippy and an oriental guru, to play golf with a chimpanzee (he loses), and to see Jackie Gleason (as the prospective groom's cynical father) steal the few laughs on offer.
