Mitchum snoozes his way through this Korean War drama as an Air Force major so cool in the face of combat he's called 'the Iceman'. Not much flying, instead there's a soapy subplot involving the nerve-wracked Phillips and his two-timing spouse May Britt - more than enough going on though for those who'd happily watch the star recite the phone book.
