Mad Dog Morgan (1976)
Director: Philippe Mora
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
An excellent early example of the Australian revival, this is a pacy, violent bushranger saga; basically a Western in all but locale, with the same sort of critical kinship to its US models as Backroads. Hopper's hirsute Irish outlaw (a first-rate performance) is the victim of social barbarities inflicted at the behest of bald, bullish policeman Thring, and David Gulpilil again represents the unknowable forgotten option like some 'good Injun'.Author: PT
