Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Cross Home Alone with Kindergarten Cop and you get 'Home Cop', which is basically what we have here. An American wrestling champ with two or three films under his belt, Hogan has an unusual combination of assets: brawn and an authentic American accent. He doesn't take himself too seriously either, which could prove his downfall - that and excruciating movies like this. He plays a genial ex-wrestler who accepts a job as a bodyguard, only to find that the bodies in question - Alex and Kate (Gorman and Zima), sorely neglected by their scientist father (Pendleton) since their mother's death - are both pre-pubescent and exceptionally vindictive. As the title implies, gender identity is at the heart of the movie. Kate teaches Hulk to be dainty by dressing him in a tutu; but come the crunch, the H-man - 'one tough mother' - helps father and son to bond by vanquishing their enemies.
