Scrapings of the horror-omnibus barrel in the Amicus tradition. The famous horror writer R Chetwynd-Hayes (Carradine), having donated some blood, is taken along by the grateful vampire (Price) to his club so that fellow-monster-members may provide him with material for future books. There follow three witlessly routine tales (adapted from stories by Chetwynd-Hayes), drearily executed and graced not at all by such luminaries as Pleasence, Magee and Whitman. Stultification is completed by assorted pop groups, presumably hired by the Monster Club to capture the teenage market, who are on hand to introduce each story with discordant squalls.Author: TM
