Interesting profile of inventor/film-maker Coubray who reminisces about his film viewing (from 1913) and film-making (from 1919) in the early days of the NZ industry. The nonagenarian handles his old Prestwick hand-ratchet camera with such affection and discusses his betrayal at the hands of Hungarian Alexander Markey in the early sound days so phlegmatically, you can't help but warm to him.Author: WH
