Quiet Please, Murder (1942)
Director: John Larkin
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Cheapo thriller enhanced by an unusual plot and location, with Sanders as a manic book collector who will do anything to get his hands on rare editions. Mainly set in a library, it takes off when Sanders kills while stealing a Shakespeare folio, and becomes more complicated when an evil Nazi art collector gets in on the act. Lively, blessed by a typically cool performance from Sanders, and helped no end by Joe MacDonald's stylish camerawork.Author: GA
