Santa Claus (1985)
Director: Jeannot Szwarc
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Children are now facing the prospect of permanent brain-softening from 1985's Superman stand-in. High up in the glacial wastes, stunted people with names like Boog, Vout and Honka fight a losing battle to be noticed among a production line of toys in hideous primary colours. Moore is relieved of his elf duties, and so defects to sell trade secrets to the villainous toy manufacturer BZ (Lithgow). After the Christmas hostilities, when you are finally sick to death of the little beasts, get your revenge. Pack them off to this. CPea.Author: CPea
