The Sexorcist (1974)
Director: Mario Gariazzo
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Blatant Italian rip-off which ages the possessed heroine of The Exorcist by a few years to get its sexploitation angle. What is intermittently interesting (but only just) is the director's preoccupation with the disintegration of the affluent Italian family, and with Ken Russell (he actually contrives to have the heroine transferred to a convent hospital to enable elaborate cross-cutting with the nuns during the exorcism scenes). But an excessively noisy soundtrack hardly compensates for the visual poverty of this quickie.Author: RM
