Director: Jefery Levy
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
An aggressive satire on consumerism, violence and the media, this mind-numbingly profane film apes the shrill, in-your-face teenage disaffection which makes its protagonist, Cliff Spab (Dorff), a TV phenomenon and a colossal bore. Spab is one of the customers held hostage for weeks at a supermarket by what appears to be an armed group of radical documentary film-makers, who insist their acuality footage is broadcast to the nation - and that's just the first five minutes. Very alienating.Author: TCh
