Stepping Razor – Red X (1992)
Director: Nicholas Campbell
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
'I learned to multiply zero with zero and get one,' mutters the recorded voice of reggae star Peter Tosh in this thunderous documentary of his life and times, at once defying logic and hitting the spot, as was his wont throughout an iconoclastic career as Wailer, ex-Wailer, political agitator and spiritual rhetorician. Tosh was murdered in ambiguous circumstances in 1987 and this long, dense film rumbles across the infernal landscape of his world with the dispassion of an apocalyptic war report. A harsh, angry, frightened description of a harsh, angry, frightened life.Author: NC
