The Sticky Fingers of Time (1996)
Director: Hilary Brougher
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
This adventurous, amusing no-budget picture uses the prism of time travel to afford a fresh perspective on that tired old standby, the New York relationships drama. It pays off in spades. The witty script bounces '50s attitudes off '90s knowingness (about the Bomb, sexuality, commitment), but the talented cast of unknowns make sure we care about the characters as well as the ideas. Imagine Walking and Talking remade by Troma - only it's a lot better than you'd think.Author: TCh
