Strangers When We Meet (1960)
Director: Richard Quine
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Evan Hunter adapted his novel of suburban infidelities for this glossy but unsatisfying and very dated 'Scope melodrama, in which unhappily wed architect Douglas carries on with restless housewife Novak, until neighbour Matthau happens on one of their trysts and and makes a play for Novak himself. Ends tamely with Douglas and wife Rush reconciled and setting off for a new life in Hawaii.Author: TJ
